Lake Whitney Fishing Report Highlights Big Cat and Sandies Catches
The Lake Whitney Association reports anglers like Jim Brooks and Tom Childress led with large yellow cats and blue cats on trotlines and worms. Dozens of anglers from Lake Whitney and Meridian tallied numerous sandies, crappie, blacks, and channel cats with minnows, chuggers, and lures, noting two to four pound average yields and a 68 degree water temperature with lake level 539.02.
