Democrats head to the polls for a runoff with two races on the ballot including the railroad commissioner contest between Jon Newton and Jerry Sadler. Polls run 7 am to 7 pm with eligibility rules outlined bycounty clerk and state law.

Clifton High School announces top all around students and those with perfect attendance named by Principal Joe Bryan. Seniors Kim Davie and Charlie Raines lead the best all around, with Janet Conrad Ted Jones as juniors and Lisa Aber crombie Donnie Lindley as sophomores and Emily Key Don Burden as freshmen. Seven seniors graduated from Cranfills Gap High School on Thursday in the school gymnasium. The ceremony featured salutatorian Vicky Jenson, valedictorian Kari Moore, speaker Rev.
