Funeral July 25 at First Baptist Clifton with interment in Clifton Cemetery. numerous relatives and friends attend.

The Clifton Next- Past Matrons and Past Patrons Association District 3 Section 7 met in Gatesville with 19 members and 1 guest. Five chapters attended. plans were made for a July 17 covered dish supper in Copperas Cove with Mrs Allene Houston as honor guest. Ruth Dunlop and Mary Hancock joined. Next meeting August 31 in Clifton features Home Endowment at Arlington.
Veterans of Foreign Wars U S A meets on the first and third Thursdays each month at Robert E Binford Post 8553 in Clifton Texas on Riverside Drive. The local post invites members to attend and participate in post activities and community service.
