After two war years the State Fair of Texas resumes for its thirty third session branded the Victory Fair. Texans are invited to attend October 6 through 19 to see Golden grain luscious fruits vegetables cattle horses and modern creations of science and art as the state showcases its twentieth century civilization.
President Simpson leads the Texas State Fair to expand livestock support at the Victory Fair with a total of sixty thousand dollars in premiums for beef and dairy cattle. Beef offerings include Herefords Aberdeen Angus Shorthorns Red Polled with substantial funds, while Jerseys Holsteins and Guernseys receive notable sums. The premium rise attracts cattlemen nationwide, promising an unprecedented cattle show.
The Victory Fair promises the most extensive agricultural show in America with ten thousand dollars in premiums. Five thousand dollars each will go to County and individual farm exhibits, the largest state fair grant yet, highlighting tractors, crop rotation, soil study and crop adaptability across Texas regions.
