County 10 Receives Tax Remittance Under New State Plan

Former Clifton Citizen Clara Harper Dies at 108
Clara Mae Harper born November 25, 1880, died July 7, 1989, in Star City Arkansas after brief illness. She was married to Charley Harper in 1901, had nine children, with husband and one daughter preceding her. Survived by two sons, five daughters, ten grandchildren, a brother Lee Arnold, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral attendance noted despite long travel for Texas-based children. Mrs Harper was a former resident of Morgantown area.
