B Dahl Jr. will be ordained Sunday July 19 at 3 00 p m at the Trinity Lutheran Church Clifton. The ceremony will be led by Rev W T Jordahl of Mason City Iowa president of the South Central District with Rev Walter Gigstad pastor of Trinity Lutheran as liturgist Others assisting include Rev C G Salveros Clifton Rev H R Maakestad Crantilis Gap Rev LP Paulbon Waco Rev E A Beaver Norse and Rev Joe C Jorgenson Searle Iowa Dahl, a student at Luther Theological Seminary St Paul, completed summer instruction there and will accept a call to Vashon Lutheran Church Washington after ordination. The candidate was born in Clifton and baptized there by Rev O Boe. He completed elementary at Womack public school, Clifton High School 1940, attended Clifton College one year, returned 1945, graduated Clifton College 1948, then attended Luther College Decorah Iowa, followed by earning a degree at Luther Theological Seminary. Dahl’s friends wish him success in his ministerial work.
