Talent Club Expands Again With 22 New Members
For the 28th straight year additions to the Talent Club bring membership to about 900. Twenty two outstanding 4-H Club members are being inducted for excellence in project work leadership citizenship and all round development. Producers Grain Corp Amarillo sponsors the program and will again sponsor a Texas tour for the new members.

County Farmers Use Waterways in Bosque District
Waterways are a basic conservation practice for Bosque Soil and Water Conservation District farmers. Gary and Wayne Duncan Charlie Miles Roy Welborn and Ottis Igler are among those who installed waterways to carry off excess water from fields diversions terraces and road ditches. Proper management including grass cover fertilization weed control and annual inspections prevent erosion and allow hay or grazing uses when livestock are excluded in wet weather.
