Clifton considers art colonies and incubator growth in city plan
Clifton officials reviewed a SWOT style presentation on opportunities such as retirees boosting economies, tourism, art colonies, and a business incubator. Proposals include a research lab at Goodall-Witcher, bio science hubs, and an arts-centred sister city concept with Norway. The group eyed tax abatements and renovating older homes for artists, while planning a City Council vote on a $50,000 loan expansion for Red Caboose Winery upgrades and Labor Day reopening.
