Directors' Meet Brought Fox and Wolf Hunters Leaders
Emmette E. Raley of Clifton and L. W. Harris of Whitney attended a Texas State Fox and Wolf Hunters Association directors meeting at Camp Tonkowa near Nacogdoches. They stayed overnight with Mr. and Mrs. Jack Durrett, returning home Sunday after a dinner and meeting.

Mrs Holen Rites Held at Trinity Lutheran Clifton
Mrs. Holen, beloved by church members and neighbors, died recently. Funeral services were held January 21 at Trinity Lutheran Church Clifton with Rev. Erwin H. Knitt officiating. Pallbearers included Alton Enger and Chester Jermstad among Clifton residents. burial followed at St Olaf Rock Cemetery between Clifton and Cranfills Gap.

Mrs Mark Whitney Honored With Bridal Tea Shower
Mrs Mark Whitney formerly Miss Barbara Rach ing, of Waco, was feted at a 7 to 9 pm bridal tea shower Saturday January 15 in the Educational Building of Clifton First Methodist Church. Hostesses included Mrs Bernice Schow and others. guests wore blue and white, refreshments featured a lace cloth and white stock arrangements, and gifts and a bride’s book were displayed.
