Alex Schulze Dies In Temple Hospital
Bosque County residents mourn the death of Alex G Schulze aged 64 on January 18 at the Veterans Hospital in Temple after years of ill health. Born November 5, 1897 near Round Top, he moved to Bosque County in 1908, worked in oil fields, served in WWI, and helped organize the Bosque County Farm Bureau. He leaves six children and is survived by family members and community roles.

Betty suffered multiple vertebrae injuries and will stay in hospital about four weeks, while Smoky has head and shoulder injuries and was to be released soon. Alvin Spitzer Jr. drove the 1959 Chevrolet. Johnny Kettler and other passengers were uninjured.
