Cancer and health warnings spark public alert in Clifton
A public health message from Dr. Geo. W. Cox urges early cancer detection through annual exams and recognizing warning signs such as unusual sores bleeding or discharge. The piece discusses leprosy treatment progress at Carville and notes local cleric Robert Latham begins duties as Clifton Church music and education director. It also covers birthday visits for Susan Witcher, a Baylor student missionary, and a local sale notice for a large Norge refrigerator.

Wreck to Oslo Delays Jensons Norway Visit
Reverend Jenson and wife of Alexandria Minnesota announce a seven month postponement of their planned Oslo trip after their son Robert was injured in a car crash near Melrose. The collision left Robert with a fractured shin and limited movement, forcing the family to remain home while he undergoes recovery and completes seminary requirements. Two others in the other car were shaken but unharmed beyond minor injuries. The Jensons thank pastors and friends for support and ask for letters to comfort Bill during his convalescence.
