In person renewal required for standard and special licenses. no mail renewals. Fees vary by license type and renewal length with odd and even number endings affecting expiration and cost.

Bosque County Savings Bonds sales for November totaled 5495 dollars, with January through November reaching 99614 dollars, reaching 50 percent of the 1967 goal. Texas sales for January–November totaled 153,756,962 dollars, 85 percent of the annual target, up 10.3 percent from last year. National first eleven months E and H bonds rose 1.3 percent to 4,546 million. Savings Notes sold 17.3 million in November, cumulative 62.8 million since May.

Postage Machine To Be Converted Across Nation
Nearly 10 000 postage vending machines including Clifton Post Office will be updated over three months to reflect new rates effective January 7 1965. Until conversion Clifton’s machine will issue 5c and 4c stamps. Afterward Clifton’s device will offer 5c and 6c stamps. The nationwide change involves five machine types and aims to reduce crowding at windows.

Clifton Golf Club Plans Nine Hole Course Near Meridian Lake
Clifton Golf Club members learned of a proposed nine hole course on land bordering Meridian Lake. Plans include grass greens watered fairways on about 65 acres with a clubhouse on adjoining private property. Membership would cost 100 dollars plus 10 dollars monthly with public greens fees.

ASCS Introduces Automated Report On 1967 Payments
ASCS announces a new automated reporting service for 1967 payments under ACP cotton feed grain wheat and other direct programs. About three million farmers will receive mailed reports generated by computers in New Orleans and Kansas City to assist with tax returns and IRS filing.
