Obituary notes J A Harris of Clifton area passing at home seven miles north of Clifton last Thursday night at age 87. Born March 3, 1842 in Jefferson County Missouri, she moved to Texas as a child and lived there the rest of her life. Survived by seven living children, two sons deceased, husband died 1916, funeral held Friday with Primitive Baptist rites. Also survived by wife Harriet McNemar and brother George Galloway. Funeral at two PM at the family home cemetery. Also mentions Better Yard Contest in Clifton and memories of caring neighbors.
