Clifton records seven 1972 traffic wrecks with two injuries
Clifton Police Chief Homer Waller notes seven traffic accidents in 1972, six of them last week. Two injuries occurred in a Friday crash involving Thomas and Mrs. Atchison, a 1964 Oldsmobile, and a pickup driven by Vivian Ender on Highway 6 and Bishop Street. Minor crashes followed on Thursday and Wednesday with no injuries.

Morgan voters approve $202,300 water sewer bond issue
In Morgan Texas voters approved two revenue bonds for utilities in a special election. Proposition 1 to extend and improve the water system passed 85 to 17 and 81 to 17 by tax paying residents. Proposition 2 to build and purchase a sewer system passed 89 to 19 with 76 to 19 by tax paying residents and 40 to 0 by non tax paying residents.
