Dr J T Glance Grant Dies After Long Illness in Clifton
Dr J T Glane Grant longtime Clifton physician died after an extended illness. He was born in Georgi in 1887 and practiced medicine in Clifton for seventeen years, serving as county health officer and a longtime church and school advocate. Survived by his wife Annie Strange Grant and nine children, funeral services were held at the First Baptist Church Clifton with Masonic rites in Clifton Cemetery.

Elizabeth Isensee born August 16 1844 in Magdeburg Germany married 1867 to Henry Isensee and moved to Texas. She lived near Lockhart Beagle County Womack then Austin before her death at age 84 leaving three children and several grandchildren. Funeral services were held at her daughter Emma Schroeder's home with Rev Bane and Rev Hayden presiding. interment in Austin.

Helmer A Brynie born July 6 1862 in Romedal Hedemarken Norway died February 2 1939 aged 76 years 5 months 26 days. He trained as an accountant at Oslo University and worked as bookkeeper in Sl0 Norway later moving with family to Colorado then Bosque County Texas. Survived by wife Mrs Brynie daughter and three sons Neal H and Henry Brynie in Norse community and Christian H Brynie of Des Moines Iowa, one sister in Norway, nine grandchildren. Oldest son Osimund died in Golarada. Golden Wedding celebrated with relatives and friends after their home destroyed by fire in 1982.
