Funeral Services Held For Pioneer Woman Rogstad
Funeral services were held last Sunday at Sevinir Lutheran Church for Norse born pioneer woman Pauline Rogstad who died January 29 in Dallas Texas. She was born November 27 1869 at Norse daughter of Bjerger and Arma Rogstad and was the last of Bosque County pioneers. She lived much of her life in Dallas since 1941 with several years in Santa Fe New Mexico and the past five years in invalid status. A brief prayer service was conducted at the home of her nephew and niece Pernie Rogstad and Mrs Belle Rox. Music included two numbers by a Norse Church Choir and a solo by Miss Hisnish Moff. Burial was in the Nurse Church cemetery with Rev Percy Sampson officiating. Those traveling from a distance included Bernt Rogstad from Oklahoma Miss Johanna Rogstad from Dallas and Mrs Alma Grinf and son Waco.

Mrs H P Cooper a pioneer of Hoeque County died January 26 in San Antonio Texas. Her remains were brought to Clifton for funeral services held at her daughter in law Mrs J H Cowpens home with interment at the Cooper farm Ginper Burial Lot. Pastor W T Gissind and Pastor C A Buckin officiated. She was born April 19 1450 near Cantom Van Hardt County Texas and married H P Cooper at age twenty. Twelve children were born. two survive. John Cooper of Quedado Texas attended. B C Cooper of Chicago could not.
