Clifton Civic Improvement Society will meet at 3 p.m. February 7 in the First United Methodist Educational Building. Members will tour the church kindergarten classes taught by Mrs. Flanagan Liardon and Shepard and view the enlarged sanctuary. The American National Red Cross Bloodmobile will visit Clifton at First Baptist Church Fellowship Hall from 1 to 7 p.m. Friday February 9 to boost blood supplies. Hospital officials cite scarce rare blood types and plan one-for-one replacements for donors. The event aims for 100 donors per visit with a 73 pint Clifton quota, volunteers are being recruited for nursing and clerical duties.
