Brookshire's Supports Families with Food Drive Boxes
Brookshire’s and Super 1 Foods stores welcomed donations for the Spirit of Christmas Food Drive. Approximately 16 000 families across Texas Louisiana Arkansas and Mississippi benefited. In Clifton about 100 food boxes were gathered plus Brookshire Grocery Company coupons for a free hen redeemable through January 4. Local service groups including the Clifton Ministerial Alliance sorted packed and distributed the donations.

Deputies Save 11 Puppies From Dumping Incident in Bosque County
Deputies Lt David Pack and Deputy Deni Hollingsworth rescued 11 puppies dumped on CR 270 and delivered them to Bosque Animal Rescue Kennels. Judy Gremminger urged spaying and neutering to prevent future litters and thanked BARK for support. Call 254 597-1206 to aid with dog houses or spay efforts.
