A 1911 year end note thanks customers for their business and goodwill. The message pledges continued courteous service, quality goods, and asks for patronage in 1912, expressing appreciation for personal and business support and wishing a prosperous New Year.
Joe Sparks was arrested in Kimball Bend by Sheriff Randal on Christmas day and brought to Meridian where he waived examining trial. Bond set at 500 dollars. he has not yet posted. Local society columns report numerous visits, weddings, and social events including the Tilley Carpenter nuptials and Norse community connections.
A motor cycle with a 2 1 2 horsepower engine, chain drive, new tires, and recent overhaul is offered for cash. Contact Alax Jones at KR 2 Valley Mall Texas for details. Also, church notices list a service next Sunday at 10:45 with Prof FW C. Jenae at 9:5, morning preaching by the Pastor, evening by Rev J F Hardy, and invitations to all Christians. Sunday school at 9:45 and no evening service unless Presbyterians join Methodists for worship.
The regular annual meeting of Farmers Guaranty Suite Hanis of Clifton Texas will be held in the banking rooms in Clifton Texas on Thursday January 12th at 10 o clock. The purpose is electing officers for the year and for the transaction of any other legitimate business that may come before it. JM Jissox, Cashier.
