State Inspector J T Conn and County Superintendent Mrs Dairy Bible completed a rural school inspection tour last week. They reported generally good conditions and praised trustees and communities for supporting child needs and future progress in Bosque County.
The note urges Clifton residents to contribute to The American Relief Council feeding 2.5 million Central European children. A $200 goal is set with $107 raised. Valley Mills and Coyote have already contributed. It cites accountability before God and a call to action. Another notice announces Citron Lutheran Ladies Aid Society's 25th anniversary fundraiser at the Lutheran College with proceeds to the college.
A Christmas message from Oscar J. Rea & Co expresses thanks for 25 years of business and good will. The note wishes happiness, prosperity, and continued friendship for customers and partners during the season.
Dr Moore 49 a McGregor physician died after taking what he believed to be throat wash misidentified as an antiseptic The death followed a Sunday evening incident and his wife and son Richard had just returned from A and M College for Christmas break He is survived by his wife a son five brothers and three sisters with funeral plans set for Monday at 4 PM in McGregor under the auspices of the lodge and burial in the city cemetery
