Sympathy to the Lynn Farr family on the death of Paul Farr in a Sunday automobile crash on the old Meridian Clifton highway. Funeral services set for Norse Thursday afternoon. Loyd Swenson Jr and Robert Hanes visited from Houston. Neal Swenson joined grandparents while the men attended an American Studies meeting in Fort Worth. Mrs. James Pitts and children in church. they moved from Valley Mills to the Turkeyee area. Pernell Aars family plans a trip to Dallas on Friday the 15th to visit Major and Mrs. Railin J. Aars of Hollywood.

Mrs Jim Gouldman and Mrs M V Bonds recently stayed with Elroy Grimms in Dallas. They also visited M V Bonds in the Veterans Administration Hospital on Lancaster Drive where he remains hospitalized and shows gradual improvement.
Trinity Lutheran Church hosts a week of Christmas events including a Sun of the Virgin program on December 17 at 5 30 pm with about 100 children and songs from preschool to first grade. A Candlelight Communion Service on December 24 at 8 pm features youth participants and Pastor Steend. A Christmas Day service at 10 am closes the observance. all are welcome.
Alton G. Reesing of a Difton student appears among about 150 tentative candidates for the Doctor of Jurisprudence degree from the University of Texas School of Law at semester end. The list, released by Dean Page Keeton, also notes five Master of Law candidates.
