Belle Richards Virs dies at 77 after long illness. Born July 24, 1868 in Ramer, she married James P. Richards November 12, 18—. She lived with daughter Kathryne Hulme in Bosqueville area. preceded in death by husband and several children. A Presbyterian by birth, she joined the Methodist Church in Texas and remained active. Survivors include children Mrs I. L. Richards, Mrs A. M. White, Kathryne Hulme, Mrs L. Mercer, Mrs W. W. Rester, and sons W. Richards, J. C. Richards, and J. C. Richards.
