Youth program hosts evening of songs and talks in Meridian

The event featured guest speaker Mr Arnold who urged youth to be healthy honest and work together for peace. Miss Lonnie Holley introduced the master of ceremony Gordon and a variety of performances by local 4 H clubs and youth groups including skits and musical numbers.

Gus Walsleben brought the first bale of cotton from the Lane farm near Chie maton to the Towgie Hiver on Wednesday. John Will receives his master's degree at the University of Michigan this month and will teach voice organ piano and baritone horn. He will meet the CJC choir.
