Clifton Record notes bank pledge and local events
The Clifton Record highlights the Farmers State Bank pledge as a brisk business sign and praises local pride. It reports county officials, women club activities led by Mrs Mangold, and Washington agent Bernice visiting for inspections. It covers legislative sessions, weather shifts harming fruit, and multiple oil agency changes. It also previews the North Texas Pecan Growers meeting and local interest in pecan cultivation and pruning.
