March 28 London Consolidated School Superintendent Lafe Shaw met with Public Instruction head L A Woods to arrange aid after a blast damaged the school. Shaw proposed using an old building with added classrooms and securing restocked textbooks and equipment to allow displaced students to finish the spring term.
