Methodist and Presbyterian Worship Unite Schedule
Local churches announce united services this Sunday at 11 o clock at the Presbyterian church with worship led by the congregation. Rev W M Lewin will preach at the Methodist church in the evening. Pioneer Bosque County matriarch Christine Dahil dies
Mrs Christine Dahil died at her home west of Clifton after a five week illness on Sunday March 27. Born in Norway she emigrated in 1855 to the United States joining the Pour Mile settlement. She married Hendrick Dahl and lived in Turkey Creek Valley. Surviving children and many grandchildren mourn her loss. funeral services were held at the Narse Lutheran Church with Rev K Rysiad and Rev P Thorson delivering tributes. Six grandsons served as pallbearers.
