The Legislative Committee of the State Grange met in Harrisburg to draft a platform for the coming campaign. Worthy Master William T. Creasy addressed the assembly outlining goals including equalized taxation, charity appropriations, repeal of a local read law, highway department reorganization with local road aid, local self government, enforcement of expense account rules, minimum salary pledges for school districts, full State road tax funding up to 25 dollars per mile, and support for initiative referendum and recall.

The Lawrence township school board met in Judge Bell's office and elected teachers for the coming year. Schools listed include Pleasant Dale, Wolf Run, Plymptonville, Paradise, Mt.
