Tuberculosis Dispensary in Clearfield Community

Dr. S C G Stewart and Misk Williams praised for eradicating tuberculosis. The Clearfield dispensary began June 4, 1908 in the Woolridge building on Market Street treating 262 patients, with 41 deaths and 28 sent to Mount Alto and Cresson sanitoriums. 107 dispensaries exist in the state as efforts continue.
