Duplication Hinders Claims Work Says American Legion Liaison
William T. Kroll of the 10th District Office of the Veterans' Bureau warns against multi agency pressure on veterans claims. He says simultaneous efforts by Congressmen, the American Red Cross and other groups slow processing by duplicating folders and delaying action. Chapters should use the Special Claims Group only after direct bureau contact fails and report if cases self resolve so HQ can cease intervention.
