GOOD LEGUME HAY Dairy feed costs and hay shortages
Michigan State College dairy specialists warn that skimping on cow rations due to high feed prices could harm herd health and production. Higher hay prices may raise feeding costs by about ten dollars per cow, risking reduced butterfat yields and lower returns.
