Saturday night about 50 members attended the Junior group party at the K of P hall. President Arleigh Gorr led a business meeting, minutes from 1935 were read, and it was decided the party will continue annually after the Auld Lang Syne event. Members must be at least 25 and have attended Farwell school. Officers elected: Pres Arleigh Gorr, Vice Pres Merle Davison, Sec and Treasurer Louis and Montre Gee. The party ended at 1:00 AM with plans for a 1937 gathering.
Lucile Mary Belknap born February 10 1921 in Farwell died September 4 1936 aged 15 years 6 months 25 days after schooling at Surrey Township. She leaves father Mr Frank Belknap and mother Mrs Belknap a sister Mrs Nellie Corwin two brothers Ivan and Robert all of Farwell and niece Peggy Joyce Corwin. Funeral at home with Rev Mary House officiating burial in Ionia cemetery.
