Farwell Labor Day Festivities Opened with Colorful Parade
Farwell marked Labor Day with a parade led by the School Band and floats from churches, VFW Post 3039, businesses, and local groups. Activities included horse pulling contests and planned entertainment as residents enjoyed a day of community pageantry and gatherings. The Farwell W C T U set a September meeting for 2 00 PM September 10 at Mrs Glenn Birdsall’s home with dues due.

Well Child Conference September schedule announced
The Well Child Conference will be held in September with sessions on Tuesday the 15th at Farwell Methodist Church from 9 to 11 a.m. and Clare City Hall from 1 to 3 p.m. Then on Friday the 18th the Harrison Courthouse hosts a 9 to 11 a.m. session.
