St Louis Man Killed in Auto Collision Near Harrison
A serious Thursday forenoon crash about eleven miles north of Harrison killed Sylvester Baker of St. Louis and badly burned his companion. The Chrysler occupants Frank Koepher Huntley and Mrs Clayton Doremist of Michigan Waters and Sandusky were uninjured, while the Baker truck driver Martin survived with minor injuries. An inquest will determine details as county officials examine the scene and fire damage.

The fourth annual Allen reunion took place October 22 at the Eagle home of Mr. and Mrs. J. B. Allen. Garfield Teen Killed After Accident While Hunting
Glen Henry Gilman age 21 of Lake township was accidentally shot last Tuesday afternoon while attempting to push a wounded rabbit from a culvert. The rifle discharged fatally injuring his leg near the knee. He died at Mt. Pleasant hospital the next morning due to heart weakness. funeral held at Gleaner hall Lake with Rev Randall officiating. He was born November 14 1912 at Lake and is survived by four sisters and five brothers and grandparents.
