Home Demonstration elects new executive board members
The Home Demonstration Executive Board for 1963-65 is eight members, with two from each of four districts. Newly elected: Mrs. Archie Beatty, Mrs. C Lovejoy, Mrs. F Howard and Mrs. I Brysint. Existing members include Mrs. Ben Nichols, Mrs. Pat Mathaway, Mrs. Joseph Judge and Mrs. Jas. Hariger. First meeting is November 6 to elect officers and finalize plans for officer training and the Christmas Tea. Two new Extension Groups formed: Coldwater Extension Group in Goldwater Township and Beal City Extension Group in Nottaway Township. Contact Home Demonstration Agent in Mt. Pleasant for details.

1200 4-H Winners to Attend National Congress in Chicago
About 1,200 4-H youths selected from over 2,000,000 members across 48 states Alaska Hawaii and Puerto Rico will travel to Chicago November 30 December 4 for the 31st National 4-H Club Congress. Sponsors fund more than 750000 in medals trips scholarships and other aids. The event combines awards with education tours and discussions stressing the theme Serving as Loyal Citizens Through 4-H.
