Key 73 and Christians Concerned for Christ Present a Thanksgiving Sing November 17 at 7 30 pm in Clare High School Gym. Saint James Singers of Detroit perform Lightshine with 40 voices plus piano guitar bass drums and harpsichord. Director Mark Benner instrumental director Lou Scavill tech director Bill Harriss and dramatic coordinator Susan Hutchings lead a non professional group drawn from St. James Church members and local residents. Admission is free with an offering for expenses.

Evangelist Russell Coffey to Speak at Clare Nazarene Church
Owosso evangelist Russell Coffey will headline a week of services at the Clare Church of the Nazarene. CMU August graduates include area students from 13 locales
Thirteen students from the area earned degrees at Central Michigan University in the August session. The list names graduates by town including Beaverton and Lake districts with degrees in Education, Business, and specialized programs. Tourney In Final Weeks At Doherty Motor Hotel Bridge Club
Nine tables competed in the fifth week of the fall tourney at the Doherty Motor Hotel on Thursday November 8.
