Four New Lansing Highway Bills Alter State Plan
Figures from the state highway department show four new trunk line highway laws add 515 miles to the system. If built under current plans, many under way projects would be abandoned as the $50,060,000 authorized two years ago won’t cover all work. The 1923 legislature may need to provide about 6,000,000 extra to fund the 516 miles of new roads.
