Brown Machine to Open New Plant in Warren Township
Brown Machine a division of Koehring Company will begin construction on a plastic manufacturing plant and warehouse on Nine Mile Road in Warren Township Midland County. Production starts early September with two million containers daily capacity and about 60 workers on three shifts. The project financed by about 2 million in industrial revenue bonds boosts tax base and marks expansion to meet rising demand for school lunch and institutional packaging.
