Mrs DeGeus hosted Sunday adults and Rev Dawe class boys at Fowler orchard last Saturday. The group played games, boat on the lake, and enjoyed roasting wienies and marshmallows by a front porch fire. Mrs Parrish helped with food as the youngsters had a great time.

Isabella County Woman Dies at Home After Long Life
Mrs Lena Gruber Schlafly, a native of Wayne County Ohio and longtime Isabella County resident, died Monday at her Mt Pleasant home. She and husband Fred Schlafly would have celebrated 60 years of marriage this June. Survived by six children, nineteen grandchildren, one great grandchild, and brother Jake Gruber. Funeral held at Stinson Funeral Home with burial at Shepherd Cemetery.
