Clare Study Club May Breakfast at Hotel Doherty
Members of the Clare Study Club and guests closed their club year with a May 3 breakfast in the wedge wood room at Hotel Doherty. The meeting featured a program of dances, taps, and a piano duet, followed by dessert and thanks to organizers and hosts.

Extension Groups Entertained At John Stough Home
Mrs. John Stough hosted Isabella County Extension Classes from North Vernon Vernon Center Northeast Vernon and Andersonville on May 3. The recreation leader committee Mrs Harry Wild Mrs Wil son Bader Mrs Ray Hales and Mrs William Zinser organized the evening. George Ledbetter from the Isabella County Health Unit presented a cancer control film followed by a Dr K Hammerberg led discussion.

Rebekah Lodge Meeting In Farwell April Minutes
Thirty nine members including eleven Past Noble Grands met in Farwell I O O F Temple on a Wednesday evening with Nell Denton and Maude Hull presiding. Lillie Suylandt filled the Past Noble Grand chair. Ethel Thrush was recommended for the Degree of Chivalry at Grand Rapids this fall. A memorial proclamation was read and filed. Committees were named for two membership applications. The April Birthday supper occurred that evening with two sisters born in April. The Rebekah Club, postponed a week, was held Thursday.
