Womans Club Music Night at Farwell meeting
Farwell Woman's Club held Music Night on April 22 with 14 members and 7 guests present. Mr. Brown of Farwell High School directed 16 students who performed flute, cornet, saxophone and clarinet solos plus a Mozart film. Mickey Nichols received the Arion award. May 13 is the next club meeting at Colonial House with reservations by May 10.

Funeral for Nobel Wilkinson Held in Farwell
Funeral services for Nobel M Wilkinson of 210 John R Clare were held April 16 1963 from the Goker Funeral Home in Farwell. Born June 17 1877 in Gananoque Canada he died at 85. He married Emma May Burk May 2 1900 she died September 22 1942. Survived by brother Samuel of Bradenton Florida and two nieces. Burial was in Mound Grove Cemetery Independence Missouri.

Farwell airman reassigned after technical training
Airman Third Class Richard L. Lloyd of Farwell will be reassigned to Ramstein Air Base Germany after completing a telephone exchange specialists course at Shepherd AFB Texas. Lloyd a Farwell High School graduate trained to analyze circuits and maintain equipment is the son of Mr and Mrs Don Lloyd of Farwell.
