Walton Farm Bureau meeting in Center Church basement
Chairman David Bellinger presided at the March meeting of the Walton Farm Bureau. Mrs. Varness Cook reported on the Woman's Activity Committee focusing on oleo and the 4 H camp at Coldwater Lake. The group donated kitchen furnishings and discussed weed control and proposed changes in the functional program. The vote favored using the same textbooks in all schools and urged improvements to the educational system including better school buildings. A lunch followed and the next meeting set for April 12 at the same location.
