Michigan Highway Training Program Seeks 100 Applicants
The Michigan Department of State Highways announces a three year technician training program open to 100 applicants. The on the job six month periods and six months of school will lead to an associates degree. Pay ranges from 216 to 240 dollars biweekly during work periods with no pay while in school. Applicants must be high school graduates up to age 40 and will be selected by examination. Applications available from county clerks offices Michigan Employment Security Commission Civil Service Commission highway offices or by writing the department. Cooperating schools include Ferris State College Lansing Community College Michigan Technological University and Schoolcraft Community College.
