Don Reynolds State Winner in Sales Contest

Don Reynolds a Consumers Power Co. salesman for Mt. Pleasant and Clare area led Michigan in Frigidaire Sales Corp campaign from December 26 to February 24. He sold 59 Frigidaire units, ranking ahead of men from Flint Jackson Saginaw and other divisions. He and his wife will attend a Detroit dinner and theater party in May.

Farwell High Names Grads Top Of Class In 1965

Joy Rawson daughter of Mr and Mrs Allen Rawson is named valedictorian and Terry Davis son of Mr and Mrs Stanley Davis salutatorian at Farwell Area High School. Joy posts a 3 82 average and plans to attend Central Beneen University. Terry finished 3 73 and plans for Michigan State University mechanical engineering. In Clare the City Commission approves a $25 000 purchase of a new fire fighting unit from Howe apparatus to be mounted on an international chassis with delivery expected in September.

Eight candidates qualified for the April 5 election to fill three Clare City Commission seats. Incumbents Glen Cain and George Wisler seek reelection. Cain is Clare mayor.
