Residents describe federal Camp Kenneth operations in the Upper Peninsula. Foresters work three shifts from 3 AM to 9 PM, meal timing complicates kitchens, and a recreation tent provides leisure with Totton directing sports. Fourteen of twenty-nine Clare County enlistees remain, including guards, truck drivers, and cooks. Construction features fifteen new buildings with barracks and improved utilities, slated for July seventh completion.
