Red Cross Auction Set by Clare County Chapter

Youth drowns while skindiving at Cranberry Lake
Clare County reports its first drowning of the season as 24 year old James Phillip Nyeste of Wyandotte drowns during a Friday night skindiving trip with three companions at Cranberry Lake. Witnesses described him surfacing with gear partly removed and later disappearing beneath the water. He was recovered at 8 45 p m and pronounced dead at the scene by Coroner D R Gershon.
