Clare City Considers New Water Well and Street Work
The Clare City Commission asked for bids to drill a second east edge water well as a follow up to the earlier wells, with one and two in service and three replacing one. The panel approved curb and gutter on John R Street and plans to blacktop Maple Street, possibly John R Street next year. They also sought bids for a new street sweeper and discussed renting it to Farwell at a daily rate.
