Girl Scouts Camp Out at Camp Oak Hills
Twenty three Girl Scouts and four leaders from troop 657 camped overnight at Camp Oak Hills. They gathered at Acorn Lodge, set six tents in Chipmunk Grove, cooked on open fires, played games and swam. An amateur show, corn popping and more fun followed before they returned home Thursday afternoon. This marked the first Harrison troop overnight at the site.

Salisbury to Begin Fourth Year at Clare Methodist Church
Rev Salisbury returns as pastor of Clare Methodist Church for his fourth year after a successful three year period marked by rising attendance and a radio program. He joins the Conference Board of Evangelism and announces a sermon on June 23 titled In the Beauty of Holiness. The church sponsors a Lake Michigan Youth Camp with Salisbury as Dean and Mrs Salisbury as Registrar.
