Roots Book Gift To Clare County Graduates
The Clare County Bicentennial Historical Committee funded and distributed 140 copies of Michigan's Timber Battleground to 50 local donors for the Class of 1978. Forrest Meek presented the volumes at graduation night June 5 in the high school auditorium. The committee plans to give every 1978 graduate an individualized copy of the local history book.
