Grass Day to be Held June 22 on Block Farm
Clare County farmers are urged to attend Grass Day on June 22 at the Ed Block & Son farm two miles north and four miles west of Mt. Pleasant. Demonstrations cover grasses and legumes in rotations, seed-bed prep, fertilizer use, harvesting methods, and new forage equipment from major companies.

Clare County AAA Committee will establish individual farm wheat allotments for the 1950 crop to be planted this fall. Chairman Andrew J Keyser notes data are being compiled and notices will be mailed to farmers with eligible acreage. The aim is to ensure no eligible farmer is overlooked in the county allotment process.
