Luther Fellowship group met at Mrs Earl Geach's home on July 13 with fifteen members and several guests present. Pastor Smith led prayer and discussed the National Convention of the Lutheran Church Missouri Synod held in Detroit in June. A short business session ended with the Lord's Prayer. A get well card for Mrs Harold Notter, a patient at St Luke's Hospital in Saginaw, was signed by all. Hilborn Reunion At Island Park Sees 55 Attend
The Hilborn reunion gathered 55 relatives Sunday at Island Park Mt Pleasant for the 25th annual event. A noon basket dinner preceded visits, with baseball and swimming as the younger generation’s activities. Two marriages were announced and a new baby joined the circle, with plans for next year's reunion set for the last Sunday in July at the same location. Relatives came from Lansing Pontiac Cohootah St Helens Harrison Clare and Farwell.
